THE HOLLYWOOD COMMISSION REMAINS COMMITTED TO THE FUTURE OF ENTERTAINMENT.
LOS ANGELES, Calif., Nov 19, 2024—The Hollywood Commission’s work has already begun to show real progress: today, more entertainment workers understand their rights, recognize the signs of unacceptable behavior, and feel empowered to demand better.
With the impending change of administration, we once again face a moment of uncertainty. Whatever changes may come, we remain hopeful. The Hollywood Commission will keep its commitment to fostering entertainment industry workplaces free from bias and harassment—a commitment essential to our shared values and collective well-being. Furthermore, our collective, continued efforts will provide the tools needed to bring true accountability and equality into every production, set, and creative endeavor.
Services like the MyConnext Resource and Reporting Tool—and support from the Ombuds Office and the Entertainment Industry Helpline—are designed to provide guidance, answer questions, and, most importantly, protect your rights. Access to these independent tools is free and available for every entertainment worker.
