BYSTANDER INTERVENTION TRAINING

Bystander Intervention Training: Bullying, Harassment and Other Misconduct
Presented By: Alteristic

The Hollywood Commission partnered with Alteristic, a leader in harassment prevention and bystander intervention to create a one-of-a-kind workshop for Hollywood. These entertainment specific workshops are available for both workers and productions of all size. Bystander intervention training teaches you how to identify bullying, sexual harassment or other unwelcome behavior strategies to support a victim feel and empowered to intervene when appropriate. The training is led by Alteristic, a recognized expert in the field of prevention, and is highly interactive. The training relies on open discussion and participants' willingness to engage with one another and the trainers through chat, polls, and breakout rooms. We encourage participants to share when they have witnessed unwanted behavior and not to discuss their personal experiences with harassment or discrimination.

WORKPLACE BULLYING

Bullying: Train-the-Trainer
Presented By: Glen Kraemer, Hirschfeld Kraemer, LLP

Date: Oct. 6, 2021

This workshop walks participants through the Eliminating Bullying and Workplace Misconduct workshop materials with annotation concerning the “why” and “how” of presenting the material to both supervisor and nonsupervisory audiences. The “train-the-trainer” program is designed for HR and leadership & development audiences and includes a Facilitator’s Guide.

Who Should Attend: Team managers/supervisors, Human Resources professionals; including Employer Relations, Legal, Ethics or Ombuds, or those responsible for training.
